On Monday, we headed up to Coventry's Ricoh Arena for a special tag rugby training session with Northampton Saints and England Saxons starlet Stephen Myler, in the countdown to the EDF Energy Cup semi-finals.
The Ricoh Arena is hosting the ties between Gloucester Rugby and the Ospreys (kick-off 2.30pm) and Cardiff Blues' encounter with Northampton Saints (5.15pm) on Saturday, March 28 and Myler was in town as part of the build up to the big day, taking a tag rugby session as part of the EDF Energy National Schools Rugby Programme, which will have introduced 112,000 8-10 year olds to the sport through tag rugby by July 2009.
Year five and six pupils from Brookhurst Primary School in Ullswater Avenue, Leamington, Our Lady & St Teresa's Catholic Primary School in Windmill Hill, Cubbington, and Green Oaks Primary School in Bective Road, Northampton all took part before asking Stephen questions in the Ricoh's media suite in a pupil press conference.
