Tottenham Hotspur duo Harry Redknapp and Jermain Defoe have won the Barclays Manager and Player of the Month awards for August after a month which saw them win all four of their Barclays Premier League fixtures.
Redknapp has now won the prize on no less than six occasions, while England striker Defoe collects the accolade for the first time in his career.
