When leaving university with a degree in Advertising I knew I would have to do work experience and I thought it would just entail boring filing work and making endless cups of tea. I can thankfully say my time at Lexis was exactly the opposite.
I have been doing Press Releases, contributing in idea generation meetings for new and exciting clients, video editing, research and talking to real clients.
Doing this work experience in PR has opened my eyes up to a whole new field that I never gave much thought to in the past. Everyday is different because as the news changes our work changes. I haven’t been bored once. Also being an avid sports fan it has been amazing working on clients like the Barclays Premier League and the 2018 Madrid bid for the Ryder Cup.
Because of the relaxed nature of the office it has created a great atmosphere where everybody wants to work so nothing becomes a chore. The whole team have been very helpful and haven’t hesitated in including me in everything they did ensuring that I have taken away as much knowledge from my time spent here at Lexis PR. I can 110% say it has been a massive help in my search for a future career.
