FASHION ICON DESIGNS LIMITED EDITION CYCLE FOR BARCLAYS

Innovative designer Jean-Pierre Braganza recently showcased his highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2011 collection during London Fashion Week, in association with Barclays.

Teaming up with the Mayor's flagship Barclays Cycle Hire scheme, Jean-Pierre showcased his creative inspiration with a limited edition print that featured on a select number of bikes across the capital.

The initiative aimed to build further awareness for Barclays Cycle Hire, which has proved extremely popular since its launch at the end of July with over 80,000 members and over 500,000 journeys made to date.

Jean-Pierre Braganza, commented: "I'm genuinely excited to be part of this initiative. As a very keen cyclist in London, Barclays Cycle Hire offers the freedom to explore the city worry-free. By customising a bike for London Fashion Week I hope to indicate the inspiration travel has provided in my work, and highlight that everyone can, and should, explore and discover our City."
